The Enemy Within Revisited Cast:
Gustav Myrthenbaum the Dilettante (Davy White) Falco the Apothecary (Michael Morgan) Hargrin the Troll Slayer (Kevin Bronakoski) Bran the Amber Wizard (David Crapper) Rutger Horstmann the Zealot (Chris Taylor) The Cursed Towne of Wittgendorf I'm not like to ever forget that horrible burg out there in the mountains. It's recent eradication serves us all and truly makes the Empire a safer place. Myself, Rutger, and Hagrin followed a lone castle guardsman back to the temple. My “gift” made itself useful. I find it hard to explain, but I could see where he was before we got there. We found them in the temple, Rutger tried to get the "unarmed" guard to remove his helmet. The man refused and menaced up with his dagger. Moving quickly, and skillfully he savagely stabbed Rutger. In the next moment Hargrin and Rutger dispatched the guards. In haste we headed out, carrying Rutger to the physician's house. We met up with Falco and found out that Rousseaux left for the castle. While our Apothecary was in the Doktors house randomly picking up items. He was seen by an old lady but since she seems to be mostly blind she mistook him for Rousseaux. Falco snuck around the house following Rousseaux where he was caught again by another servant but ducked out. He followed the physician out and down the road but had to stop following when Rousseaux got on a horse to head to the castle. On the way back, Falco noticed that he himself was being watched. We look through the stuff Falco stole but it was useless. Noting Rutger's failing condition, I stepped in, I fed him two leeches and turn his bed to better align him with the screeching wren, a know portent of health. His bleeding subsided and I passed this knowledge to Falco, should he require it to save my own life. Hargrin and I headed back to the temple to dispose of the bodies before they were discovered. We searched the bodies and removed the helmet from the guard. They were extremely decayed and stunk terribly. We dragged them to the dark corner of the tower. Back at the Inn the physician shows up and is dragged up to help Rutger. He works on Rutger and patches him up properly. Rousseaux invites us to dinner at his house with the Lady Margritte. We determined that we ought to be able deal with anything she may think of. My third eye remained silent which I took to be a good sign.... by Davy White (aka Gustav Myrthenbaum)
